[KHTS] – The Valencia Jazz and Blues Festival is gearing up for its 15th annual event next to the Hyatt Regency Valencia starting June 13.

jazzblues“This series of live performances will feature famous regional, national and international entertainers in a family-friendly environment as a community favorite,” said event official Barbara Myler.

The artists will begin performing on Fridays from June 13 to July 25, except for July 4. Hours for the concerts are 7-9:30 p.m.

The events will take place in the street on Town Center Drive at McBean Parkway, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Valencia.

The sponsors who make this event possible are Whitening Lightning, Re/Max of Valencia, Hyatt Regency Valencia and the City of Santa Clarita.

To kickoff the schedule of performances, beginning on June 13, the Tony Galla Band featuring Sara Niemietz & Mark LeVang will hit the stage.

On June 20, the Lori Andrews JazHarp Quartet will be performing; next, on June 27, The Delgado Brothers. Continuing on with the series, Jim Gibson performs July 11; on July 18, the Tom Nolan Band offers a range including Soul, blues, rhythm and blues, jazz.

Finally, on July 25, Doña Oxford, is fronting one of the hottest Blues bands of the 21st century will end the series of jazz and blues concerts, Myler said. Each of the performers are established recording artists.

Along with the world famous jazz and blues recording artists, the admission is free for everyone.

There will also be food vendors providing a variety of food and beverages, including wine and beer for the adults. At the venue, there will be no pets or outside food or beverages allowed.
