Moms and dads are invited to attend an information meeting for the YMCA Adventure Guides program on Tuesday, June 13, or Wednesday, June 14. These meetings will give parents/guardians the opportunity to learn about a program that has been bringing families closer together for over 75 years now.
Formerly known as “Indian Guides” or “Indian Princesses,” Adventure Guides allows one parent and their child (grades K-3rd) to spend time together during fun, well-organized outings throughout the year. These outings include three overnight camps – on Catalina Island, in the snow of Big Bear and on the beach of San Diego – and smaller, local events like a pinewood derby.
The following information meetings will allow Santa Clarita Valley families to learn how to get involved in Adventure Guides this coming fall.
Tuesday, June 13 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Stevenson Ranch Library – 25950 The Old Road, Stevenson Ranch, CA 91381
Wednesday, June 14 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Santa Clarita Valley Family YMCA 26147 McBean Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355
