UPDATE: Missing Man Returned to Lancaster Home

On Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Alan Heather returned to his residence in Lancaster on his own.

Heather was in good health and was reunited with his wife.

Original Story

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.

Alan Heather, 73, was last seen on March 30, 2016 at 9 a.m. in the downtown Los Angeles area. Heather just underwent heart surgery, suffers from Dementia, and is currently on medication. His family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Person’s Detail at (323) 890-5500.
