As part of the 90th anniversary commemoration of the St. Francis Dam disaster, Santa Clarita historian Phil Scorza, host of SCVTV series “Points of Interest,” will show an exciting series of vintage newsreels from the period of the disaster, and more recent documentaries about the disaster and water history of Los Angeles.
A Night of St. Francis Dam Newsreels and Documentaries will take place Saturday, Mar. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Hart Hall, at William S. Hart Park in Newhall and will be presented by the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society.
Admission is free.
