The Honorable Michael Robert Howells commemorated on his appointment as new Consul General of the United Kingdom in Los Angeles.

Cecilia Saco honored for her over 30 years of service in the Department of Children and Family Services.

The Los Angeles County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services Dispute Resolution Program recognized in honor of “Mediation Week.”

Loyola Law School’s Coelho Center for Disability Law, Policy and Innovation commended in recognition of the new Center and its goal of supporting and increasing the number of lawyers with disabilities.

The American Merchant Marine Veterans Memorial Committee celebrated in honor of “National Maritime Day.”

Discussion related to the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Measure H funding recommendations. (S-1, Item 19)

Allocation of excess funds available to the Fifth Supervisorial District for various projects. (1-P)

Supervisors Solis and Barger direct the Chief Executive Officer, in consultation with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to allocate funding for one additional LAHSA Homeless Engagement Team for Service Planning Area 3. (Item 2)

Supervisor Solis directs the Chief Executive Officer to enter into an agreement with a designated non-profit, utilizing a sole-source justification, if warranted, to facilitate a community-based address canvassing for 2020 Census. (Item 3)

Supervisor Kuehl proposes a gratis license agreement of the Malibu Courthouse with the City of Malibu for the provision of social services to the homeless. (Item 8)

Supervisor Kuehl instructs County Counsel to join the amicus brief seeking to uphold a preliminary injunction in order to protect women’s access to preventive services. (Item 9)

Approval sought for a one-year extension with the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County for Grand Park maintenance, operating and programming services. (Item 17)

Approval sought for the County local funding priorities for subsidized early care and educational services. (Item 18)

Authorization sought by the Acting Director of Public Social Services to execute a contract with the Los Angeles County Office of Education for the provision of vital General Relief Opportunities for Work Program Support Services. (Item 23)

Approval sought for the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Women and Children’s Medical Home Program Modular Building Project with a total estimated project amount of $3,800,000. (Item 24)

Approval sought for site improvements projects at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Campus and LAC+USC Medical Center, for a total combined projects budget of $4,423,000. (Item 32)

Approval sought for an ordinance for introduction to amend the gas pipeline franchise granted to Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), to extend the term of the franchise for five years and require SoCalGas to comply with the applicable laws relating to the construction, maintenance and operation of all pipelines. Approval sought for the Manhattan Beach Maintenance Yard Structural Repairs Project for a total project budget of $1,364,000. (Item 36)

Approval sought for the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre Retaining Wall Reconstruction Project with a total project budget of $600,000. (Item 37)

Approval sought for the Foothill Boulevard Medians – La Crescenta Project with an estimated construction contract amount between $875,000 and $1,175,000. (Item 39)

Authorization sought by the Fire Chief to execute a fire and life safety service agreement between the Chargers Football Company, LLC and the Consolidated Fire Protection District for augmented District staffing of fire and life safety personnel at Chargers home football games each National Football League season. (Item 49)

Approval sought for the revised and updated Organizational Rules for the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council. (Item 50)

Report by the Inspector General on reforms and oversight efforts with regard to the Sheriff’s Department. (Item 51)

Recommendation to adopt a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $700,000,000 to meet the cash flow needs of the County General Fund. (Item 59)
