An art exhibition began last week at Canyon Theater Guild featuring works of award-winning photographer Glen Glancy. An artist reception will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to meet the artist and view the exhibit. Images will be on display for viewing now through Oct. 25.
Glancy is an active member of the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association and the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association. His work has been recognized in numerous competitions.
In the current exhibit, Glancy has captured the stunning beauty of Mt. Rainer in the Spring, the Grand Tetons both Spring and Fall, and other majestic landscapes of the West. These include Bryce Canyon, Zion, Yosemite and Aspen. There are also images from our California coastline.
Glancy’s goal in photography is to share the beauty of God’s earth with others. “I love capturing the fabulous landscapes of the West. It’s exciting to have the opportunity that this exhibit provides to share those images with friends and community,” he said.
The Canyon Theater Guild’s hours for the exhibit are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 661-253-3173.
