The College of the Canyons Athletics Department is inviting all players, coaches and cheerleaders associated with a Santa Clarita Valley youth sports league or cheer organization to attend Saturday’s Cougar football game free of charge.

The invite is extended to all local teams/leagues/organizations including: elementary school, junior high and high school programs; parks and recreation leagues; youth/pop warner football; youth cheerleading; AYSO/club soccer; club volleyball; basketball; little league baseball/softball; swimming; track & field etc.

Players, coaches and cheerleaders who arrive at Cougar Stadium wearing their team’s respective jersey, uniform and/or team colors will be admitted into the game for free.

General admission tickets are $5. As always, kids 10 and under are free!

No. 17 College of the Canyons (4-2) will host Moorpark College (1-5) with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Cougar Stadium.

“We would like to show our appreciation for the tremendous amount of fan support we receive each season by inviting the SCV’s next generation of collegiate student-athletes to come out and experience Cougar football,” said COC head football coach Ted Iacenda.
