The LA SummerFEST, is announcing an open call for musicians for the 2017 season. The LA SummerFEST is an annual 5-week, summer cultural series that serves the North LA County region. The family friendly, free festival includes music, theatre performances, and special events. As part of the cultural series, there are three music festivals.

The NewGrass Music Jam (Sunday July 16th) A day of music, crafts, special presentations, food and beverages, dancing and family fun. The music is focuses on Bluegrass, altcounty, Rockabilly, and roots influenced music.

The SoCal BLUES & BREWS Fest (Saturday August 5th) The BluesFEST is the only celebration of International Blues Music Day in Los Angeles. The day includes great music, great food, and wonderful vendors, California craft beer, and small batch California Whiskeys.

Jazz & Wine At Rivendale (Sunday, August 6th ) A beautiful evening with local and regional wines, great jazz against the majestic Santa Monica mountains.
Also part of the festival is a Singer-Songwriter concert, an Evening of Praise Music, an Night of Opera, a Broadway Review, and the Shakespeare in the Park series. The festival is held each year at the Rivendale Park & Open Space in Towsely Canyon.
