The Pacific Southwest Region of the USDA Forest Service announced today it will be advertising over 1,500 temporary positions throughout the national forests in California beginning Jan. 9.
Temporary positions are available in a variety of exciting and rewarding occupations such as fire, trails, forestry, engineering, wildlife, recreation, fisheries, archeology and administrative support.

January 9 through 13, 2017: Temporary fire positions
January 17 through 23, 2017: – Temporary non-fire positions (Recreation, fisheries, forestry, engineering, and other positions)
