Los Angeles Dodgers logoThe Los Angeles Dodgers, who have the best record in major league baseball, had their 11-game winning streak snapped by the Atlanta Braves 6-3 at Dodger Stadium Thursday night in the first game of a 10-game homestand.

The Dodgers will take on the Braves tonight, Saturday and Sunday, then the Minnesota Twins (July 24-26) and the San Francisco Giants (July 28-30) during their first homestand of the season’s second half.

The 11-day homestand ties for the team’s longest home stretch of the year.

The homestand includes something for everyone, with two Friday Night Fireworks shows presented by Denny’s, Movie Night and a post-game screening of the movie “42: A True Story of an American Legend” on Saturday, July 22 presented by Fandango and a car show at Viva Los Dodgers presented by Coca-Cola and Spectrum as part of the first-ever Car Club Day, with postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by New Balance on Sunday, July 30.

The special events calendar also includes Clippers Night on Tuesday, July 25, with ticket packages available at Dodgers.com/Events and themed programming throughout the game.

In addition, the promotional calendar includes a kids’ pillowcase giveaway presented by Hi-Chew (Sunday, July 23), a replica Justin Turner jersey giveaway presented by UnitedHealthcare (Monday, July 24), Clayton Kershaw Bobblehead Night presented by Pirelli Tire (Wednesday, July 26) and a box of Little Dodgers Fandages kids giveaway presented by Cedars-Sinai (Sunday, July 30).

Off-day Event: Clayton Kershaw’s Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event, more information at kershawschallenge.com/pp4p. Jimmy Kimmel will be the Master of Ceremonies, and Kershaw’s Challenge will be honoring Magic Johnson and the work of the Magic Johnson Foundation with their Impact Award.

Friday, July 28, 7:10 p.m. vs. Giants
Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Denny’s, themed to music from the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love. The chart-topping song “Light My Fire” will be included in the mix, and The Doors’ Robby Krieger will throw a ceremonial first pitch.

Saturday, July 29, 1:05 p.m. vs. Giants

Sunday, July 30, 5:05 p.m. vs. Giants (ESPN National Broadcast)
Promotion: Box of Little Dodgers Fandages kids giveaway, presented by Cedars-Sinai (first 5,000 ticketed fans age 7 and under).

Viva Los Dodgers, which is presented by Coca-Cola and Spectrum and starts two hours before the game at the historic 76 Station, will celebrate L.A.’s rich and historical car culture. Andre Ethier will judge four classes of cars – Classic, Sport, Lowrider, and Muscle – and award winners for the Best in Show and the Best in Class.

Special Event: Car Club Night (special ticket package, which includes a Dodger Stadium Car Club t-shirt, available at Dodgers.com/CarClub). The Dodgers are also inviting car enthusiasts to display their cars in Preferred Parking Lot H. With the purchase of a ticket package, fans will receive a special link in their confirmation email to purchase discounted preferred parking for $35 in advance.
