The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra (SCVYO) is pleased to announce the kickoff of our annual Poinsettia Fundraiser. This campaign, now in its 15th year, affords our families, friends and community the opportunity to support the SCVYO by purchasing beautiful, locally grown poinsettias to add a festive touch to home or office, or as a welcomed holiday gift.

We are pleased to offer poinsettias in three sizes: Medium 6.5” pot (Red or White) for $15, Large 10” pot (Red only) for $30; and new this year jumbo-sized “Estate Red” for $75. These magnificent poinsettias in 5-gallon containers set the perfect holiday welcome for businesses and bank lobbies.

Orders can be placed through Saturday, Nov. 23, by visiting our website at https://www.scvyo.org/about-poinsettia-campaign. Distribution will take place at College of the Canyons-Valencia Campus on Saturday morning, Dec. 7. Delivery option available for an additional modest fee.

Proceeds from this annual fundraiser supports the SCVYO multi-tiered musical education and performance programs that allow our students to grow and succeed as musicians in a friendly, supportive, ethnically diverse environment, regardless of their ability to pay.

“These poinsettias are extremely healthy and vigorous plants which are much nicer than typical poinsettias purchased in local box stores”, says Bess Knight, Executive Director of SCVYO. “Our families and community sponsors are always thrilled with the quality of these poinsettias and feel very good knowing their purchase is benefiting the SCVYO, a valued and beloved musical program in our community”.
