Celebrating 43 years of changing challenges into opportunities, the Tierra del Sol Foundation is gearing up for its 7th annual “Tee Off for Tierra” golf tournament on Monday, May 19 at Angeles National Golf Club in Sunland. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with a noon shotgun start and an auction, dinner and awards reception at 5 p.m.
“As in the past, this tournament is one of the fundraising highlights of the year for Tierra,” President and CEO, Steve Miller, said. “Golfers are raising support for the vital programs we provide, and they get to do it with a great round of golf on one of the premier courses in the Los Angeles area.”
In addition to single-player registration for $250, golf packages are available for everything from a $1,500 Tee Time Package foursome, to $5,000 Eagle Flight Package for eight golfers and eight extra dinner guests. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are still available. $175 for tee sign sponsors to $5,000 for dinner sponsors. Seats for the dinner are only $60.
Sponsorships provide a great opportunity to join other top local companies in helping to educate and empower people with developmental disabilities. According to Miller, “It’s a great way to help your business while helping the community and all levels of participation are encouraged.”
Spots are filling up quickly, so for more information or to register online, please visit www.TierraTourney.org, or call (818) 908-3355.
