Catching up a bit from last week, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Saturday posted information about three arrests on Dockweiler Drive in Santa Clarita early Tuesday morning.
Here’s the story:
When you’re driving around in Newhall at 3:30 a.m., you see suspicious activity and check it out — next thing you know you’ve located a stolen car, and arrested three adults for multiple felony charges.
That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday morning when patrol deputies were driving down Dockweiler Drive.
In the darkness of the night, they spotted a car parked to the side of a nearby street with a male adult dressed in dark clothing standing near it. And then, of course it’s never a good sign when you’re driving a patrol car toward individuals and they take off running.
Long story short, after deputies checked into the situation, they ended up arresting a 22-year old Valencia man and two women ages 19 and 21, from Castaic and Canoga Park.
The three are facing multiple felony charges including taking a vehicle without an owner’s consent, possession of access cards (because they had multiple credit cards that didn’t belong to them), and possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sales.
Oh, and we almost forgot to mention that one of the suspects arrested was found to have a $100K warrant in the system for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. That’s right, folks, the same charge she was re-arrested for.
