Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station arrested two adults and two juveniles on charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools Saturday morning, according to a post on the station’s social media.
Here’s the story:
Hmmm, we’re beginning to think our deputies can read each other’s minds. Early Saturday around 2 a.m., deputies responded to a burglary alarm call at a business located in the 28400 block of Haskell Canyon Road in Saugus.
Upon arrival, deputies found the window had been smashed and a cash register and tip jar had been taken.
Through video surveillance footage, deputies were able to view suspect(s) breaking into the business — removing the register and tip jar.
Simultaneously, while deputies were investigating the burglary in another part of the SCV, different patrol deputies conducted a routine traffic stop.
As they made contact with the driver and vehicle occupants, you’ll never guess what they found in the car: a cash register and burglary tools.
The early morning chain of events ended with the arrest of two male adults and two male juveniles from Long Beach for felony burglary and possession of burglary tools. How’s that for teamwork?
