Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a man with an outstanding warrant who was allegedly also in possession of drugs in Stevenson Ranch early Saturday morning.
Here’s the story from the station’s social media:
“Somehow people must think that we’re not going to catch them engaged in illegal activity at 2 a.m. in the morning. Just because most are sleeping — our sheriff’s station is ALWAYS awake.
“Deputies were patrolling The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch on Saturday morning when they spotted a vehicle parked in an area of a parking lot where they shouldn’t have been parked.
“The deputies made contact with the man and discovered he had a $75K warrant for his arrest. He also had methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia in his possession.
“The deputies arrested him on narcotics charges and booked him at the station.
“We’re out there looking for anything illegal in Santa Clarita, 24/7.”

Good. Either he is selling and needs to be off our streets or he is using and the best thing for him is to be locked up for a while to detox and then ordered into rehab with drug testing for a couple years. I bet it is the best sleep his parents have had for a few years.
