A 32-year-old San Fernando man was arrested by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Impact Team deputies less than half an hour after he allegedly stole a car in Newhall Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
Here’s more from the station’s social media:
“On Wednesday morning, a woman reported her car was stolen on Valle de Oro. Her cell phone was inside the vehicle, along with a couple of credit cards.
“At 10 a.m., approximately half an hour after the crime occurred, CIT deputies arrested the suspect, Dion Cambria, 32, on charges of vehicle and identity theft.
“The suspect, who was identified to be a San Fernando gang member, was out on bail on narcotics-related charges at the time of the arrest.
“Cambria was transported at booked at (the) Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, where bail is set at $25,000.”
