Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a burglary suspect and a convicted felon and his female companion on multiple weapons and drug charges in separate incidents Monday.

Here’s the burglary suspect story from the station’s social media:

“Shout-out to LASD Parks Bureau for partnering to keep SCV safe.

“(Monday) around 11 p.m., Parks Bureau deputies conducted a traffic stop at Parker Road/Castaic Road in Castaic.

“Deputies found the vehicle’s occupants, a convicted felon and his female companion, were in possession of everything pictured (above).

“We do not want that element in SCV, and we appreciate the keen observations of the Parks Bureau deputies in getting them off the street, and into jail, where they belong.”

On Monday afternoon, aided by air support from LASD’s Aero Bureau, deputies were able to quickly apprehend a suspected burglar Monday afternoon near The Old Road.

Here’s that story from the station’s social media:

“A homeowner reported that an adult male was trying to open the rear sliding glass door of her house.

“The suspect then took off, running through her backyard and over a fence into the neighborhood.

“Deputies set up a containment and then our Aero friends took a “birds-eye” view for us, and told us exactly where we could find him.

“Deputies located, detained and arrested a 34-year-old adult male transient on a felony charge of attempted burglary.”
