Friday night, The Vu in Newhall presents No Small Children – a band of “kick-a**, rockin’ chicks by night and schoolteachers by day,” according to their Facebook page. Lisa Parade, Nicola B. and Joanie Pimentel make a powerful noise that’s melodic and irreverent, and they’ll be playing tunes from their two albums, the most recent being “Trophy Wife.” As you might figure, it’s for rock fans 21 and older, and no small children will be allowed anywhere near the joint. No Small Children hit the stage at 10:30, following a set by opening act JennaSyde & The Watchers. Call The Vu at 661-255-7833 for more info.
