A Light of Hope is excited to announce a new partner with New Global Adventures, who will bring their event expertise to organize and host the 5th annual Be The Light 5K/10K fundraiser on Sept. 29. This night run/walk takes place in Valencia and benefits youths in recovery with A Light of Hope charity.

“We’re going to bring light into this darkness that addiction brings into families lives.” — Tim Traurig, President and Co-Founder, A Light of Hope Support Center, Inc.

Ready to make a difference in your community? Join us to be a part of the annual Be The Light 5K night run/walk in Santa Clarita. As the sun sets on Santa Clarita, we will turn our headlamps and flashlights on for our run/walk along the San Francisquito Creek Trail. Beams of light will create a visual show of community support and love. Young people in recovery—along with moms, dads, and siblings—will witness this powerful reminder that they are not alone.

Registration is now open at BeTheLight5K.com. The run/walk takes place on Saturday, September 29, 2018, it will start and finish at the West Creek Park, 24247 Village Circle, Valencia, CA 91354. Participant check-in will begin at 3:00 PM, the race starts around 6:30 PM. See website for full event details.
“Our events are about creating great experiences that have a positive and healthy impact on people’s lives. Organizing Be The Light 5K/10K allows us to reach youths in need and make a difference in our community.” —Terry Majamaki, Co- Founder of New Global Adventures, LLC.

For businesses that want to grow and reach a targeted and affluent audience by having their business, brand, or products represented at this event, while supporting a great cause in the community, please send inquiries to run@bethelight5k.com.

This event is brought to you through the new collaboration with A Light of Hope and New Global Adventures, the latter are creators of popular Southern California events such as the iconic Spacerock Trail Race (spacerocktrailrace.com) at Vasquez Rocks, the Sugar Daddy Race (sugardaddymarathon.com) on Father’s Day weekend in Santa Clarita, Valencia Trail Race (valenciatrailrace.com) in Valencia, CA, and Grit OCR (gritocr.com) a premier obstacle course race in Santa Clarita, CA.
