The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station-based Summer Crime Enforcement Team made more than 300 arrests for various crimes in unincorporated SCV this summer.
Here’s more of the story from the station’s social media:
“Our Summer Crime Enforcement Team wrapped up in September. The five deputies, led by one sergeant, were tasked with conducting proactive patrols throughout the summer months in the unincorporated areas of the Santa Clarita Valley.
“So, how’d they do? The results are in, and we are very proud of their hard work.
“The small team you see pictured above made more than 300 arrests.
“Of those arrests, more than 40 were on felony charges — and nearly 100 were narcotics arrests.
“Here are a few examples of some of their arrests:
* Suspect transporting more than 40 lbs. of methamphetamine.
* Ex-felon caught selling narcotics while in possession of a loaded stolen gun.
* During a parole compliance search, nine suspects were arrested on felony narcotics charges.
“Great job by the team in making a difference.”
