Special Victims Bureau detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are looking for a suspect in an alleged sexual assault in a public restroom in Saugus Friday afternoon.

On Friday, patrol deputies responded to Saugus to take a report of a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on Friday afternoon between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in a restroom located at a community pool area on the 20800 block of Plum Canyon Road.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was allegedly sexually assaulted by a suspect in his 20s after she went with him into a restroom.
She had met the suspect in an outdoor recreational area in the community earlier in the afternoon.
The suspect is described to be a male black adult, 20-25, 5’6″-5’10”, 140-160 lbs.
Special Victims Bureau detectives are actively investigating the incident.
