The Master’s College men’s track and field team looks to a strong future with the recent signing of Christian Carter, a native of Keller, Texas.
“I chose to attend The Master’s College because I want to do well and glorify God,” commented Carter.
Carter enters his time at TMC with an impressive resume crafted at Bryon Nelson High School (Division 1 6A) where he earned both academic and athletic honors.
Based on his performance in the classroom, Carter earned academic all-state honors for football and academic all-district status for track.
Athletically, Carter was a four-year varsity letterman and earned second-team all-state honors for football.
Looking ahead to his time as a Mustang, Carter desires to, “…build growth and understanding with Christ.”
Commenting on Carter, TMC head coach Zach Schroeder said, “I was so excited when Christian signed with us. Although he had offers to play football in college, he chose TMC because he really wanted to grow spiritually. We will look to Christian to make an immediate impact with our sprints team and will hopefully round out our first men’s 4 X 400-meter relay team. I believe Christian will become a man of God through his time at TMC and I am excited to see him become everything the Lord has intended.”
Carter plans to major in Biological Studies.
Looking to another fruitful season, the Mustangs will be graduating only two seniors and returning a slew of veterans.
