From the Facebook page of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station:
A deputy from the SCV Sheriff’s Station was on patrol in Saugus Wednesday afternoon and ran a license plate check on a vehicle. It returned with a hit on a $35,000 warrant for narcotics issued to an adult male.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop in a shopping center parking lot located on the 28400 block of Haskell Canyon Road.
Two male adults, 30’s, were in the vehicle, and both were determined to be on active probation. Inside the vehicle, deputies found heroin along with items consistent of narcotics sales, such as baggies and a scale. The duo from Sherman Oaks were also in possession of a Billy Club.
Deputies arrested both men on felony and misdemeanor charges and transported them to be booked at the SCV Sheriff’s Station jail.
