juanalexandermejiadubon2Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are seeking public assistance in locating Juan Alexander Mejia Dubon, pictured left.

He is being sought for questioning in connection with an incident of armed Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Attempted Murder. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at approximately 11:47 p.m. in the 19000 block of Newhouse Street, Canyon Country.

During the incident a male victim was shot. The victim’s son, was at the location just prior to the shooting and his current whereabouts are unknown. The weapon used in the crime has not yet been recovered. Mr. Dubon may be armed. Do not approach or attempt to apprehend. Contact authorities.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or the man pictured here is asked to call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Detective Bureau at 661-255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information being released at this time.
