A Palmdale pimp was sentenced Friday after pleading no contest to human trafficking and a number of related crimes, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Deputy District Attorney Theodore Swanson said Bruce Kelcy Gordon (dob 5/21/84) was sentenced to a total of 27-years-to-life in state prison for case MA062155.

Gordon entered a no contest plea yesterday to one count each of assault with a firearm, lewd act upon a child, human trafficking to commit another crime and sodomy by use of force.

He also admitted an allegation of multiple victims of sex crimes.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Daviann Mitchell of the Antelope Valley Branch ordered that Gordon be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Beginning in August 2003, Gordon, who went by the moniker of “King Kong,” forced one victim under the age of 14 into prostitution for more than seven years while he also sexually abused her, the prosecutor said.

The victim was “stamped” with tattoos, including one saying “King Kong” above her eyebrow. She managed to escape on Feb. 16, 2014, after she jumped out of a moving vehicle as the defendant, who was driving the car, pulled a handgun on her, Swanson said.

Another victim was kidnapped from the state of Washington and “sold” to the defendant. She was tattooed on her forearms with pictures of large boxing gloves. In addition to other violent tactics, Gordon used boxing gloves to punch his victims in the stomach, the prosecutor added.

He has a prior 2007 conviction for having sex with a separate minor who worked for him.

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department, Palmdale Station, and Major Crimes Bureau.
