During May, Single Mothers Outreach ran a fundraising competition to see which local business can raise the most money for us during May.

Several local businesses were running fundraising events throughout the month and the winning business became an Empowerment Sponsor for our 2016 Empowering HeArts event in November.

We wish to thank all of our businesses and announce that Tracy Hauser from Cobalt Realty raised the most at $2,000, and therefore will be our Empowering HeArts Inspiration Sponsor.

Other businesses that are part of “Make a Mother’s Day” were: Dr. Roger De Sesa from De Sesa Chiropractic ,Valencia Pediatric Associates, Kokolita Cakes, Saenger Associates, Pat News Health Care, Vance Wealth Group, Pizza Rev, Laura’s Lash Lounge and Tribute Beauty Lounge. The local Junior Chamber – JCI Santa Clarita also helped to promote the competition throughout May and we are grateful for their support.

DaAnne Smith who organized the event said “We are very grateful to our local businesses for their support of Single Mothers Outreach and want to congratulate Tracy Hauser from Cobalt Realty for raising the most money! All funds raised will our mission to empower single parents and their children by providing hope, support, and resources so that families can become self-sustaining and thrive. We are thrilled with the results and will be running the competition again in 2017.
