Whitening Lightning’s creator, Jennifer Gerard makes her home in the beautiful hills of Sand Canyon.  Her business, Whitening Lightning, began as a small mobile teeth-whitening service in the SCV and quickly turned into a million dollar success.  Having moved to the SCV in 1979, Jennifer attended elementary, junior high, high school and college in this valley, and continues to live the American dream.  “God has blessed our business to be a multi-million dollar company, and there is nothing more important to me than giving back to our local organizations that do great work.” She continues, “We love supporting them in every way we possibly can.”

Fahr West
Music Sponsor – Fahr West

It’s late in 2009 when songwriter guitarist Tom Lamog met with longtime professional guitarist David Fry at a local jam.  Together they would go on to form The fahr.west Sessions, performing their homegrown original tunes, along with popular country rock and rock and roll songs at venues around the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys.  Since then, they have been joined by veteran local musicians Arden Acord (fiddle/mandolin), Trout Davis (harmonica/dobro), Phil Sykes (bass guitar), and Mark Davis (drums/vocals).  Dynamic vocal harmonies are provided by singer/songwriter Pat Nason, country singer/picker Jerry De Jong, and rock songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Greg Hughson.  The band is currently performing material from Tom’s latest CD, “It’s Not Magic, Just Hard Work” in which the title song has been officially adopted by crab fisherman boat captain, Keith Colburn, from the popular TV show, Deadliest Catch for whom the song is written for.

The fahr.west Sessions performs songs by several popular artists including Eagles, Doobies Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt, Jackson Browne, The Marshall Tucker Band, Dan Fogelberg, John Prine, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Bob Dylan, and Eric Clapton.

The band has played at several notable venues and events including Kulak’s Woodshed in North Hollywood, The Soroptimists International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley Wine Affair in Valencia, Vincenzo’s Pizza in Newhall, It’s a Grind Coffeehouse in Castaic, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and most recently in the San Gabriel Mountains at Adam’s Pack Station for their annual music festival, the Barnyard Jamboree.  For more information, visit the band’s music website, Facebook fan page, or contact Tom Lamog.
