The next meeting of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is set for Tuesday, April 2, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Among the agenda items, the Supervisors will act on a motion by Supervisors Kathryn Barger and Shiela Kuehl to send a letter to the LA County Congressional Delegation expressing support for HR 1708, the Rim of the Valley Preservation Act introduced by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) on March 13, which would add more than 191,000 acres of the Rim of the Valley Corridor to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
