Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies took two young drivers into custody on DUI charges in separate incidents on Sunday, according to officials.
Here’s more of the story from the station’s social media:
“Deputies arrested two drivers (on DUI charges) early Sunday morning – a woman in her 20’s around 1 a.m., and an 18-year-old man around 4 a.m.
“Thankfully, no innocent drivers were affected by their poor choices.
“There are NO excuses for getting behind the wheel of a car after you’ve been drinking. One of the worst things our deputies have had to do in their career is knock on a door and inform family members that their loved one has been killed – at the hands of a drunk driver.
“There are lots of options, whether it’s using ride-sharing services or lining up a designated driver.
“‘Make good choices, because life doesn’t have a reset button.’”
