After one and a half hours inside a crumpled car, the last of two people trapped was freed from the wreckage.
“The third and final patient was just extricated a minute ago,” Sky Cornell, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said at 2:05 p.m.
The crash happened around 12:35 p.m., when firefighters were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash on Willow Brook Lane, near Smoketree Lane, west of Mapletree Court.
Two people remained trapped inside a wrecked car for more than an hour Friday, as firefighters worked to free them.
In all, three people were injured, including the two trapped inside their vehicle.
“There were three patients,” Cornell said. “One of them was from another vehicle.”
Firefighter requested three ambulances respond the traffic collision, he said.
