Saint Kateri Catholic Church will be hosting their annual Caring and Sharing Christmas Festival on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Benefiting local charities, this fun family event will include kids games, Selfies with Santa, and Taste of Kateri food booths.

“We want to offer Santa Clarita a fun family Christmas event that also includes opportunities to focus on the needs of others during the season of giving,” said Molly McCarthy, Director of outreach at Saint Kateri Catholic Church.

Local charities participating include Bridge to Home, Carousel Ranch, Help the Children, Family Promise, Guide Dogs of America, Cancer Relay for Life, Single Mother’s Outreach, SCV Pregnancy Center and others.

Stop by their booths to learn about the good works that these charities are doing in Santa Clarita Valley and have the opportunity to make a donation.

This is the first time we have hosted this on a Saturday so we are excited about the addition of the charity booths, yummy food and kids games. We are expanding our hands on service projects to accommodate the crowd but will still be collecting travel size toiletries, men’s white sox, canned food and diapers if festival goers would like to bring something. Except for the yummy food the event is FREE so that families will be able to donate easily to their favorite charities. Hope to see you there.
