Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy an evening of classic rock during this year’s Concerts in the Park series, presented by Logix Federal Credit Union?
The show on Saturday, July 13, will feature the Surf City Allstars, a Beach Boys tribute band. The free concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.
Concertgoers will have fun fun fun as they listen to the cool, beachy tunes of one of America’s most famous rock bands. The Surf City Allstars’ musical performances are often praised for their similarity to the Beach Boys, with many of the group’s members having either toured with the original band or received vocal training from them. The Beach Boys originated in Hawthorne, California, and their West Coast roots shine through their music. The Surf City Allstars carry on the Beach Boys’ legacy and will no doubt treat the Concerts in the Park crowd to hits like “Surfin’ U.SA.” and “Good Vibrations.”
California girls (and boys) won’t want to miss their chance to enjoy this summer show with family and friends. Remember to bring blankets and lawn chairs so you can relax on the grass. Attendees can also picnic at the park with snacks from the different food vendors that will be on site.
