The city of Santa Clarita has several volunteer opportunities ahead and invites residents to sign up.

Swim League Finals
Volunteers will check in swimmers, time races and help with other duties.

River Rally
Help clean a portion of the Santa Clara River, the longest free-flowing river and one of the last two natural river systems remaining in Southern California. Be a part of the solution for a better environment by helping to preserve the river’s natural beauty and variety of wildlife.

CERT Simulation Drill
Volunteer to act as injured survivors to create a real-world scenario for the CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) Program.

Santa Clarita Marathon
Volunteer for the largest running event in the city of Santa Clarita. You’ll have fun, meet great people and enjoy the thrill of victory without having to break a sweat.
Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4
Various shifts and positions available
Online volunteer registration opens August 20.
More volunteer opportunities are available as Youth Sports Coaches and at the Canyon Country Community Center, the Newhall Community Center and Santa Clarita Public Library locations.
