Ten performers, from a variety of genres, are selected to perform a 10-minute piece of their choosing. Every month is different, so you never know what you will see on stage. The show is Thursday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m. and free to attend.
Comedy Mashup is a group of working comedians and improvisers from all over Los Angeles that comes together once a month to put on a show that is half stand-up comedy and half improv. Explore new sounds from veteran drummer Maury Baker with the experimental jazz quartet Baker’s Brew. The concert is Saturday, January 19 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and admission is free.
Note by Note is a free musical showcase delighting audiences with a variety of genres. The Wardens are a Banff National Park-based trio whose stories rise from the very land they’ve protected as rangers in the Rocky Mountain national parks for the past 60-plus years. With haunting three-part harmonies and chilling tales, The Wardens’ mountain music—blending folk, roots and western styles—is a piece of Canadiana that reflects the pristine wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. The concert is Friday, January 25 at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are $15.
The MAIN is located at 24266 Main Street, Old Town Newhall 91321.
