The city of Santa Clarita invites local photographers to enter its winter 2018 photo contest for cash prizes.

Shooters should capture Santa Clarita’s beautiful environment, architecture and vibrant community life.

The top three photos chosen by a panel of judges will win cash prizes:
* 1st Place = $300
* 2nd Place = $150
* 3rd Place = $50

Submit your favorite photographs in the following categories:

Active Santa Clarita: Snapshots of hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors in Santa Clarita.

People Portraits: Residents participating in city-sponsored events and classes.

Community Life: Community members volunteering, enjoying nightlife, experiencing city events, celebrations, arts & culture.

My View: Images illustrating your favorite Santa Clarita view.

Only one entry per photographer will be accepted each quarter.
