On the eve of the first round of the 2015 GSAC Basketball Tournament, TMC’s Bianca Cubello & Megan Lindsley have been named to the 2014-15 Women’s Basketball All-GSAC Team presented by Under Armour.
Cubello finished the regular-season slate averaging 10.5ppg and posting team-highs of 6.3rpg and 38 blocked shots, the second-highest mark in the GSAC. Playing all 29 games, the Riverside, California, native also hit 48.8% from the field, the third-best percentage in the conference.

Meanwhile, Lindsley averaged a team-high 11.6ppg, scoring in double figures 15 times and highlighted by a season-high 25 points against La Sierra on December 6, 2014. The sophomore guard also connected on 79.4% of her free throws, the third- best percentage in the GSAC, and dished out 49 assists.
TMC’s all-conference duo will lead the Lady Mustangs into battle on Wednesday when Biola visits Bross Court for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff in the first round of the 2015 GSAC Women’s Basketball Tournament.
The 2014-15 Women’s Basketball All-GSAC Team Presented by Under Armour consisting of 11 athletes is headlined by GSAC Player of the Year Riley Holsinger of Vanguard. GSAC Co-Coach of the Year honors go to Russ Davis of Vanguard, Kirsten Moore of Westmont, and Trisha Stafford-Odom of Concordia.
Holsinger averaged 19.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game. The junior guard has scored 30 or more points four times so far this season, including her season-high 37 points in Vanguard’s overtime loss at then No. 9-ranked Concordia, the eventual GSAC Champion. She also tallied eight double-doubles and was named GSAC Player of the Week in January.
GSAC Co-Coach of the Year Stafford-Odom led Concordia to the conference championship in her second year at the helm. Russ Davis earned his ninth Coach of the Year honor after leading Vanguard to a second-place finish by virtue of the Lions win at Concordia in the final regular-season game. Kirsten Moore coached Westmont to the No. 3-seed in the GSAC Tournament and received her third GSAC coaching honor in the last four years.
