Catch a free ride on the Holly Trolley as it travels from Heritage Junction (inside the gates of Hart Park) down Main Street to Lyons on Saturday Dec. 6th, from Noon to 4 p.m. Look for the Candy Cane Trolley stops on Main Street and listen for the carolers and musicians. You’ll hear bells, Fife and Drum, School and Church Choirs and more. (Trolley stops are: near Maria’s on Lyons across from the Newhall Library, on Main Street and 9th, Main Street and Market, and at Heritage Junction.) Visit local merchants for holiday specials and free treats. Meet the Artists who will be knitting and crocheting to dress the Old Town trees and benches for a Yarn Bombing Community art project, and learn how to crochet. Bring your pet to the Animal Blessing at 1 p.m. at the historic Ramona Chapel.

For details about the Open House and Animal Blessing visit scvhs.org or call (661) 254-1275.

County Fire Department’s “Spark of Love” toy drive. Donations can be dropped off at the Newhall Library, The Historical Society and with participating Merchants.
