Ever wonder if that “heirloom” sitting in your attic is valuable? Find out at the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library’s fourth annual Antique Appraisal Day, hosted at the Old Town Newhall Library on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Old Town Newhall Library is located at 24500 Main Street in Newhall.
The cost of appraisal is $8 per item or $28 for four items (maximum four items per customer). Jewelry and furniture will not be able to be appraised.
“The Antique Appraisal Day is one of our more popular events,” says City Librarian Kelly Behle. “It’s fun to see what folks in the community bring in,” she adds. “And, all of the proceeds from this event benefit programming for the Santa Clarita Public Library. We really appreciate the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library for putting on this event annually.”
The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library is an active group of Santa Clarita residents who volunteer, advocate and fundraise to meet the needs of the Santa Clarita Public Library. All of the proceeds from the fundraising efforts and programs sponsored by the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library go towards programming for the Santa Clarita Public Library.
