[KHTS] – While it isn’t safe to dispose of electronic and hazardous waste through regularly daily pick up, the city of Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts and Department of Public Works are partnering to offer a free Hazardous/E-Waste Roundup at College of the Canyons’ South Parking Lot on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is open to all county residents and is one of many disposal events taking place across Los Angeles County through July.
Hazardous waste should be stored in the original labeled containers and packed in a sturdy box to be transported to the disposal site. Trained personnel will remove the hazardous materials from residents’ trunks.
