Attention NCIS enthusiasts! Here is a unique treat for you!  The Rancho Camulos Museum was one of the settings for the filming of this season’s NCIS premier episode entitled, “Ziva’s Farewell.” Join a docent-led tour at noon to learn about the Ziva Farewell shoot and see the locations used.  Reservations are recommended as space is limited.  A $5 donation applies.  Following this special tour, attendees are invited to stay for a regular tour of Rancho Camulos Museum.

Love Ride 30th Anniversary 

Sunday, October 20

Enjoy an entire day of motorcycle and music; all for a great cause (proceeds benefit the USO). The Love Ride kicks off at the Harley Davidson of Glendale with a short concert hosted by Grand Marshal Jay Leno. After the music and introductions of our special guests, Jay and other celebrity guests, will lead a ride from Glendale up to Castaic Lake, where the fun continues. At Castaic Lake, riders, drivers and families from all over Southern California are welcome to the all-day music festival, including the Peter Fonda Ride-In Bike Show, motorcycle stunt show, food trucks, vendors, beer garden, and more. The Castaic Lake concert features Jackson Browne, jackshit, Chevy Metal and The Loveless, plus surprise special guests.

Plus, don’t miss the Love Ride After Party at Route 66 Classic Grill in Santa Clarita.

Santa Clarita Marathon

Sunday, November 3

The Santa Clarita Marathon, which is an official qualifying race for the Boston Marathon, will take place along the city’s extensive open trails system. To kick off the Santa Clarita Marathon and get in the racing spirit, the City will host a pre-race Health and Fitness Expo for everyone to enjoy on Saturday, November 2. The free Expo will be held at the Hyatt Valencia from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature dozens of health-related vendors and information booths. Here, runners may sign up for events and race participants can pick-up race bibs and t-shirts. Other events included in the weekend activity are a half marathon, a 5K run, Mayor’s Walk, Kid K run. Hyatt Regency Valencia has great rates for Santa Clarita Marathon participants. The hotel is steps away from the start and finish line. Reserve your room before the hotel is sold out!
