The International Friendship Center provides help to those who are newly emigrated to the U.S. from the Indian subcontinent. The services that are offered by IFC are:
• Acclimatizing new immigrants to the U.S. Culture by teaching communication skills and common customs.
• Biblical counseling for individuals & families with their relational and inter-generational problems.
• Fostering friendship and understanding between the pre-mentioned ethnic groups by having a once-a-week get-together.
• Provide Prayer and Care for the specific concerns and needs.
IFC is a nonprofit organization conducting the Annual Christmas Banquet to bring people from the Indian sub-continent to foster harmony and understanding between cultures and help them to acclimatize to American culture and to succeed in their dreams. IFC stands in the gap to connect individuals who need physical and spiritual help with the resources that are available in the Santa Clarita area. The number of people moving to Santa Clarita has increased and many of the people from Indian sub-continent call Santa Clarita their home.
