2014 is looking to be he best year in the National Premier Soccer League’s 10-year history. With 33 new teams so far for 2014 bringing the total to 84 and more still to come, the NPSL is the largest, fastest growing league in the fourth tier of the US Soccer Federation.
The Storm participates in the Western Conference, which has added a total of 9 new teams – five in the Northwest (Washington and Oregon) and four in the Southern California area.
With five maintaining in the Golden Gate Division (Northern California) and nne as of now in South West Division, the Largest of the 3 divisions in the Western Conference with 4 new teams, brings it a total to 9.
The Storm will compete with the San Diego Flash, FC Hasental, San Diego ICON FC (formerly Boca), Corinthians of Glendora, PSA of Irvine, Temeccla FC , Del Rey’s of Marina Del Rey and the Las Vegas Stallions. Bring the total to 9 team is the Division.
The season schedule is not yet released or the Open Cup Qualifiers that information should be released after the first of the year.
The Storm is preparing for a challenging and competitive season. Your Santa Clarita Storm is approaching its third year in Santa Clarita and experiencing two of its best seasons in its long, seven-year history.
The Storm will be looking to fill spots in all positions and will be looking for the most talent dedicated players who are looking to build a career in the sport of soccer.

Storm Tryouts
When: January 4th and 5th of 2014
Location: Santa Clarita Central Park (field TBA)
Times: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. both days. Players must attend both days. Saturday your asked to show up 30minutes early to register. Click Here or go to the Storm website and click the team link. There is an application and waiver to print and mailing instructions. A $50.00 non refundable fee applies, once approved for the tryouts the fee is finial. The first 50 applications are guaranteed a tryout opportunity.
