A 38-year-old man was arrested on charges including theft and forgery in Stevenson Ranch early Thursday morning.
Here’s the story from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s official social media, posted Friday night:
Our deputies were proactively patrolling business parking lots on the 25500 block of The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch during early morning hours Thursday when they spotted suspicious activity.
It was around 3 a.m. when they noticed a white male adult on the backside of a business carrying several boxes from the store’s dock area to his vehicle.
Deputies made contact with the man and found he was also in possession of counterfeit money, a driver’s license and credit card that did not belong to him, and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested the 38-year-old man on charges including theft and forgery. He was transported and booked at the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
