The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center/America’s Job Center of California in Santa Clarita–WorkSource/AJCC–will host a Medical Industry Employment Event for employment opportunities in the medical field from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the College of the Canyons University Center.

Fourteen employers have signed up to participate in the employment event and will be accepting applications for multiple positions. Confirmed medical industry employers include: Adecco Staffing, Aerotek, Aflac, Applied Behavioral Consultants, Comfort Keepers, Charter College, CVS Pharmacy, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Home Instead Senior Care, Quest Diagnostics, Jay Nolan Community Services, Select Staffing, Southern California Health Institute and US Army. Additional employers may be added.

Resumes will be accepted for full-time and part-time positions in the areas of customer service, security, retail sales, food services, administrative services, and more.

The employment event is free and open to all military veterans, community members and students. Interested attendees must pre-register by calling the WorkSource Center/America’s Job Center of California at (661) 799-WORK, or 9675.

Free parking is available in Lot 14 during the employment event in the ‘unmarked’ spaces and spaces marked ‘WorkSource Parking Only’ located directly in front of the University Center.
