The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), including those in the Santa Clarita Valley, will be holding an open house as part of its Countywide Fire Service Day. The countywide open house will take place Saturday, May 11, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the countywide open house, drop by and learn about the opportunities available through the LACoFD Fire Explorer Program at Fire Station 58 in Los Angeles.

Becoming a Fire Explorer provides participants with basic safety training, first aid skills and CPR certification, and valuable hands-on experience, including ride-alongs.
Fire Explorers must meet the following requirements in order to participate:
– 15-20 Years Old
– Maintain a 2.0 GPA
– Submit a Physician-Completed Medical/Physical Exam Form
– Pass a Physical Agility Test
