cf4Mark your calendar for the Child & Family Center’s 10th annual Kid Expo, Sunday, Oct. 13, at Golden Valley High School (27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for each adult and FREE for children.  The title sponsor of the event is Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.  Each year over 7,000 attend this much anticipated event. Every dollar raised goes directly to Child & Family Center, which provides mental health and behavioral services to over 700 local children each week.

Kid Expo features over 100 exhibitors from the Santa Clarita Valley showcasing services and activities for children.  From sports to karate, dance to art, gymnastics to books and tutors, kids and parents can discover the many activities available for kids.

cf1There’s something for the whole family to enjoy at Kid Expo. Enjoy the Wild Animal Show by Animal Tracks.  Have fun in Disney’s Imagination Playground. Shake hands with Magic Mountain’s characters. Feel the earth move in the Shakey Quakey House.

In addition, there will be fun, games, arts and crafts, reading and storytelling, art, music, sports and entertainment.  Local kids will perform dance, gymnastics, karate and more on stage.
