A patient who was admitted to the emergency room at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills on Aug. 19 has been identified, hospital officials confirmed.
The identification came Friday when hospital officials double-checked with police. A missing person’s report had been filed, hospital spokeswoman Pat Aidem said, and family members were on their way to the hospital. No further information was available due to patient confidentiality, Aidem said.
The patient, who speaks Spanish, had been found outdoors in the San Marino area.
