One winner from each category will be announced live at the 19th Annual Eddy Awards® on Thursday, November 13th, at the Beverly Hilton.

“We are very honored to be a finalist for the Most Business Friendly city award by the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation,” Santa Clarita Mayor Laurene Weste said.

“In today’s complex, competitive business climate, Santa Clarita is doing everything it can to ensure that companies are successful here in our community. We believe that good business is good for Santa Clarita. Our businesses have added 8,000 jobs in the last four years and continue to believe in Santa Clarita. We strive to make sure our City’s practices help businesses thrive, while providing our residents with a choice to work locally.”

Inaugurated in 1996, the Eddy Awards® gala presents the State’s only “business-friendly city” award, recognizing cities within L.A. – Competitive business tax rates and fee structures

– Availability of economic incentives

– Effective communication with and about business clients
