The SCV Chamber of Commerce has opened the nominations period for the 2019 Santa Clarita Valley Business Choice Awards to be presented in January.
The award categories include Rising Star, Entrepreneurial Spirit and Business of the Year.
Award nominations will close on December 6 and honorees will be announced the week of December 16.
“We’re excited to launch the Chamber’s Business Choice Awards this year as it opens up a larger pool of individuals and businesses to potentially be recognized,” said Nancy Starczyk, chair of the Chamber Board. “The Business Choice Awards gives everyone a voice to cast their vote in our three different categories and to spread the word around our community.”
You can visit www.scvbizawards.com and begin submitting your nominations today.
The Business Choice Awards categories are as follows:
· Rising Star: a new company or young professional whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in contribution to the Chamber and business community.
· Entrepreneurial Spirit: A person or a growing/developing business that has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.
· Business of the Year: A business that has been a strong supporter for the Chamber and business community through leadership and dedication to the mission and goals of the Chamber.
“The Chamber’s Business Choice Awards allow for our full community to partake in nominating who they believe has excelled in 2019,” said Ivan Volschenk, managing partner at Evolve Business Strategies, which manages the Chamber.
“It is important for the Chamber to recognize the full business community of the Santa Clarita Valley and the inaugural Business Choice Awards allows for just that,” Volschenk said.
The SCV Chamber will award the honorees on Friday, January 24 at its 97th Annual Awards & Installation Dinner. More info will be published soon at www.scvchamber.com.
