Drummer Chuck Strong, the Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society award winner and SCVTV “House Blend” star, is going to be in a jam Thursday night. A rockin’ blues jam, that is, at Bergie’s Steakhouse in Canyon Country off of Sand Canyon and Soledad.

Speaking of the SCV Blues Society, Strong and “House Blend,” Chuck joins fellow “House Blend” star Teresa James and guitar-slinger Jim Gustin on Friday night to headline the SCV Blues Summit. It’s hosted by the Blues Society at American Legion Post 507 in Newhall. Showtime is 7 p.m., and your $15 donation will get you admission plus two sliders and a side dish.
Then on Saturday at 10 p.m., local singer-songwriter Pat Nason and his band The Regular Crew star in an encore telecast of SCVTV’s “House Blend,” hosted by yours truly.
